About the event

This session offers more space to explore — hands-on or simply by watching and listening.

Building on our previous gathering, you'll have the opportunity to see and try different sensory tools firsthand — or simply observe. However you engage, this session is designed to help you find what actually fits your child and your family.

Join Laurie Appel, Occupational Therapist and owner of The Lotus Tree Hub & Rhizome, for a practical, supportive space to learn how to better support children who struggle with emotions, behavior, or sensory regulation.

In this session, we'll explore how to:

  • Co-regulate with your child in the moment

  • Reduce overwhelm using simple sensory strategies
